E! Networks will become the exclusive worldwide distributor of G4TechTV’s original programming, the company announced.
G4TechTV was formed when Comcast Corp. finalized its acquisition of TechTV from Vulcan Inc. earlier this month and merged that channel with its G4 network.
“We are excited for G4TechTV to take advantage of the strong momentum E! Networks has built in the international markets,” G4TechTV senior vice president of programming Vinnie Longobardo said in a prepared statement.
“Our network will provide E! with original shows -- all about games, gear, gadgets and gigabytes -- that complement E!’s existing catalog for the millions of viewers overseas,” he added.
