Time Warner’s Dinesh Jain Named NAMIC Conference Co-Chair

NAMIC Tuesday named Time Warner Cable chief operating officer Dinesh (Dinni) Jain as its honorary co-chair for the 29th Annual NAMIC Conference.

"We are excited to have one of our industry’s most accomplished and influential business leaders serve as honorary co-chair for this year's conference," said Eglon E. Simons, NAMIC's president and chief executive officer. "NAMIC is also pleased to continue its partnership with Time Warner Cable, a company that shares our goal of advancing diversity within our industry."

Jain, who has served as Time Warner Cable’s COO since January 2014, will preside over the conference, which is scheduled for Sept. 29-30 at the New York Marriot Marquis in New York City as part of the cable industry's Diversity Week.

NAMIC said another co-chair will be named at a later date.

Jain added: "I’m incredibly proud to be part of an industry that embraces and celebrates the differences in each of us. We bring unique perspectives and points of view to what we do based on our own life experiences, and being open to them makes us all better — and better able to reflect the needs of the customers and communities we serve. I am honored to be co-chair of this year’s NAMIC Conference.”
