TV Land Awards to Honor Joan Rivers, ‘Parenthood’

The April 11 TV Land Awards special will honor late comedian Joan Rivers, the network announced Thursday.

The special, which will tape April 11 and air a week later on TV Land, Nickelodeon and NickMom, will honor Rivers with a special tribute, according to network officials.

The TV Land Awards will also honor Betty White, who will receive The Legend Award, as well as Donny and Marie Osmond, who will be accepting the Pop Culture Award, said the network.

Also receiving honors during the event will be hit series Parenthood (Fan Favorite Award), The Wonder Years (Impact Award)and Ally McBeal (Groundbreaking Award), TV Land said.

Actor Terry Crews will host the TV Land Awards, which will take place at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif.
