TV Land Sets 'Housewives' Kyle Richards-Inspired Series

TV Land will develop a single-camera comedy series inspired by the life of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

The project, set in the 1970s and inspired by Richards’ childhood being raised by a single mom, will be executively produced by John Riggi (30 Rock), John Wells (Shameless, ER) and Andrew Stearn (Shameless), according to the network. Richards will serve co-executive producer.

“We are beyond thrilled to be working with Warner Horizon Television and all of these amazing talents – John Riggi, John Wells, Andrew Stearn and, of course, Kyle Richards,” said Keith Cox, executive vice president of development and original programming for TV Land, in a statement. “This project, the caliber of the people behind it, and its fearless authenticity brings TV Land to new heights.”
