TV One will premiere in August an original comedy film, Girlfriends’ Getaway, the network announced Wednesday.

The movie, which premieres Aug. 30,  stars Garcelle Beauvais (The Jamie Foxx Show), Terri J. The comedy film, shot entirely on location in Trinidad, is excutively produced by Roger M. Bobb (Raising Izzie, For Colored Girls, The Rickey Smiley Show).

“As summer winds down this Labor Day weekend, we are excited to bring this hilarious and fun film to our audience to serve as a reminder to appreciate our friendships every day,” said D’Angela Proctor, senior vice president of programming and production for TV One.
