USA Banks on Video Games

Looking to boost the popularity of a unique league comprised of video-game competitors, USA Network is teaming up with Major League Gaming to create the Boost Mobile Major League Gaming Pro Circuit.

Similar to athlete profiles NBC runs during the Olympic Games, USA will look to humanize professional gamers with segments that feature “behind-the-scenes looks into their homes, schools, work and social lives.”

The seven-part series is set to premiere Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. In addition to title sponsor Boost Mobile, USA sold advertising to Scion, Gamestop and other sponsors.
