VH1 To Debut New Rap-Themed Documentary

VH1 will continue its “Rock Doc” franchise with the Sept. 2 debut of ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta’s Rise in the Rap Game, the network said Thursday.

The 90-minute documentary will chronicle Atlanta’s rise to the top of the rap industry and will feature interviews from Atlanta hip hop artists including Ludacris, Usher, T.I., Jeezy, Lil Jon, Future, and Jermaine Dupri, said network officials. ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta's Rise in the Rap Game is written, directed and executive produced by Brad Bernstein, Rick Cikowski and Brandon Dumlao, said VH1.
