VH1 Greenlights New Season Of 'Single Ladies'8/22/2012 5:48 PM Eastern
VH1 will give its scripted dramedy series Single Ladies a third season, the network announced Wednesday.
The series, which stars LisaRaye McCoy, Denise Vasi and Charity Shea as three best friends navigating the dating world in Atlanta, is currently averaging 3.2 million viewers in its sophomore campaign, an increase of 10% compared to season one, according to network officials.
The second season finale of the series will air next Monday (Aug. 27.)
"Our viewers' love affair with Single Ladies got even bigger this year, growing significantly from its successful first season and dominating its timeslot on basic cable," said Jeff Olde, executive vice president of original programming & production for VH1 in a statement. "We're extremely happy that we'll be able to give the audience another great season of the series and its honest, current take on love, dating and female friendship."
