Women Renovate on Turner South

Regional network Turner South will launch a daily home-improvement show featuring an all-female renovation crew of contractors, designers and carpenters.

Shot on location at a dilapidated home in NoDa, a historic neighborhood in Charlotte, N.C., the Home Makers team -- led by hosts and repair experts Kristin Wells and Jeanene Glander -- instructs viewers on how to restore a 100-year-old residence to its original state.

Over six months and 60 half-hour episodes, which will air weekdays at 3 p.m. (EST), the series -- with a pair of Saturday encores at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. -- will showcase how the crew renovated a former boarding house that structural engineers had deemed a tear-down.
