NCTC Hires Radloff as VP, Video Solutions

The National Cable Television Cooperative has hired former Comcast VP of product development Jon Radloff for the newly-created role of VP, Video Solutions, spearheading an initiative to help small cable operators explore innovative options for video delivery.

Radloff had been consulting with the NCTC since January, managing a major RFI process with suppliers of next generation video platforms.

In his new role, Radloff will focus on helping members to modernize their video platforms so they can remain competitive, primarily focusing on the advanced video platform space.

“Video margins aren’t getting better,” Radloff said in a statement. “It’s exciting to take on a new project with the goal of helping members reduce costs and add new revenue.”

Radloff has over 20 years of experience in a variety of product roles, beginning with Telecable and then TCI, AT&T Broadband, and TV Guide, before spending the last 11 years at Comcast in Denver.

“We’re thrilled that Jon has joined the NCTC team,” stated Rich Fickle, NCTC President and CEO. “With his expertise in video solutions he will be a tremendous asset to our members as we continue to pursue options in the advanced video space”.
