Movielink Gets Nat Geo Documentaries

Movielink LLC (www.movielink.com) is expanding into the documentary category, with help from National Geographic Television & Film.

The two parties announced a deal Tuesday under which Movielink will create a National Geographic-branded area and distribute and promote the programmer’s documentaries to customers throughout the United States.

Broadband Internet surfers can “rent” movies from Movielink for $1.99-$4.99 per title.

NGT&F titles currently available for download via Movielink include 21 Days to Baghdad, Air Force One, Clone, Egypt: Quest for Eternity, Everest: 50 Years on the Mountain, The FBI, Holy War, Inc., Inca Mummies: Secrets of a Lost Empire, Inside the Pentagon, Inside the Vatican, Lost Kingdoms of the Maya, National Geographic Beyond the Movie: Pearl Harbor, Pearl Harbor: Legacy of Attack, The Quest for Noah's Flood, The Search for Kennedy's PT 109 and Surviving West Point.
