4.4M Viewers Experience Comedy’s ‘Passion’

"The Passion of the Jew," Comedy Central’s South Park’s answer to The Passion of the Christ, was basic cable’s No. 1 show in primetime Wednesday, the network said.

The eighth season’s third episode notched a 3.4 Nielsen Media Research rating and a 2.9 among persons 18-49, pulling in 4.4 million viewers two-plus.

Following South Park, Chappelle's Show broke its own viewership record, drawing 4.1 million viewers two-plus.
