Fox Sports, Big East Establish Ad Sales Partnership

Fox Sports and the Big East Conference are teaming to sell the conference's sponsorship assets and broadcast advertising.

Under the two-year partnership, Fox Sports and the Big East will collaborate in creating and executing an integrated sales approach that includes the presenting sponsorship for all conference championships and other assets, including category and official conference sponsorship levels and a wide range of Big East telecast and non-telecast inventory.

The package is highlighted by the Big East men's basketball tournament in New York’s Madison Square Garden and the women's basketball tournament in Chicago, as well as such other conference championships as soccer, lacrosse and track and field.

"This innovative new sales partnership is a perfect complement to our existing broadcast partnership," said Big East commissioner Val Ackerman. "Fox Sports is already deeply familiar with the Big East and 100% committed to building our brand through extraordinary national exposure. This agreement will allow us to further align our sponsorship and sales priorities so that we can leverage our commercial opportunities across a wide range of platforms."

"Our goal is to maximize the tremendous value that Fox Sports and the Big East jointly bring to the marketplace," said Fox Sports executive vice president Larry Jones. "We have already had many inquiries from advertisers looking to associate with Big East properties, and this unique arrangement will allow us to package and deliver the assets a client values throughout all sports seasons and conference championships.  We are thrilled to reinforce our commitment and investment in the college space with this innovative partnership."
