Interactivation Renamed ‘Wellness Network'

Interactivation Health Networks, parent company of The Patient Channel and The Newborn Channel, is officially changing its name to "The Wellness Network."

The change reflects the formal "re-launch" of the organization since the acquisition of the channels from NBC last April and the company's focus on providing health and wellness content, and advertising solutions.

The Newborn Channel reaches 3.1 million viewers annually on more than 31,000 screens in more than 1,000 hospitals. This represents 60% of all U.S. births. The Patient Channel provides information to a targeted audience including 20 million patients and caregivers on more than 300,000 screens in more than 1,500 hospitals across the United States.

A separate but related entity, Interactivation, owns the Mag Rack video-on-demand service and last year sold VOD outlet Concert TV.
