Many Hallmark Moments in April

Original films helped to drive Hallmark Channel to the highest-rated April in its history, the network said Thursday.

In primetime, the network was seen in an average of 594,000 homes, up 18% compared with April 2004; by 167,000 women 25-54, up 31% from the year-ago period; and by 265,000 adults 25-54, up 26%

As far as total day, the network earned a 0.7 Nielsen Media Research household rating in April, rising 30% in homes compared with April 2004 (457,000), 46% among women 25-54 (130,000) and 40% among adults 25-54 (226,000).

Hallmark Channel Original movie Out of the Woods -- which debuted Saturday, April 2, from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. -- earned a 2.6 for the network in its coverage area.
