Rentrak Expands Relationship with Political Agency

Rentrak has reached a multiyear deal with National Media Research, Planning and Placement, LLC to use the measurement firm’s TV Essentials program.

The political agency, which targets and places ads for Republican political, public affairs and issue campaigns, will deploy Rentrak’s TV ratings data to plan campaign strategies for statewide and Congressional campaigns for the 2013-14 election cycle.

"During 2011 and 2012, we had good success using Rentrak to plan network ad buys for clients like the RNC, the U. S. Chamber's Institute for Legal Reform and others," said Will Feltus, SVP for research and planning at National Media, in a station."During the next cycle, we'll be expanding our use of Rentrak data to local market spot buys of broadcast and cable television."

"Rentrak is proud to continue to serve the political platform and provide value through our unique advertising targets," noted Chris Wilson, president of national television at Rentrak. "It's great to have an agency the caliber of National Media subscribe to Rentrak for the 2013-2014 cycle and we look forward to providing our services to many others during the upcoming political season."
