4/14/2010 11:41 AM Eastern

Si TV has acquired Prison Break, the drama series from 20th Century Fox Television, and is set to premiere it April 19 at 10 p.m.
ET/PT, the first time the show will appear since its original 2005 run on
Fox.

Prison Break, the
story of a man who purposely gets sent to prison in order to break his brother
out, became a major hit among viewers, especially those of Latino origin,
ranking at or near the top English-language primetime programs among Hispanics.
Fox, however, cancelled the show after its fourth season in 2009, citing a dip
in audience share.

Produced
by Adelstein-Parouse Productions in association with Original Television and
20th Century Fox Television, Prison Break
stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, and features Puerto Rican actor
Amaury Nolasco in the role of inmate Fernando Sucre.
