The Walt Disney Co., citing the economics of running the business, will close five ESPN Zone restaurants.
The sports-themed outlets in Baltimore, New York, Chicago, Washington and Las Vegas are slated to close on June 16. The first of the outlets bowed in the Charm City's Inner Harbor 12 years ago.
Two other restaurants in Los Angeles and Anaheim Calif., run by Anshutz Entertainment Group and Zone Enterprises, will remain open.
