CNN and WJXT-TV Join for Florida Gubernatorial Debate

CNN and WJXT-TV have paired up to host an hour-long nationally televised debate between gubernatorial candidates, Charlie Crist (D) and Gov. Rick Scott (R), to air Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.

An online focus group function will be available through Microsoft’s Bing Pulse, as CNN plans to encourage viewers to voice their opinion.

Registered Florida voters, as well as the national audience, will reveal all parties perspectives' through the online sentiment tracker as well.

Moderated by chief Washington correspondent and anchor Jake Tapper, WJXT-TV anchor and reporter Kent Justice will assist as a co-moderator for the final debate before Election day.

To re-air at 11 p.m. on CNN, the debate will be covered through a variety of social media plaforms, including CNNgo, @CNNPolitics, Facebook, Vine and Tumblr.
