Mnet America Extends Time Warner Carriage Deal

Mnet America has extended its carriage deal with Time Warner Cable that will launch the Asian-American targeted network on the MSO's Los Angeles and San Diego systems, the network said Wednesday.

The extention of the Time Warner deal, which already includes carriage in New York, Dallas-Ft. Worth and Honolulu, puts Mnet America in more than 20 million homes, according to network officials.

"Introducing Mnet America to homes in San Diego is a great next step in the amazing and mutually beneficial relationship we continue to enjoy with the Time Warner Cable family," said Sang Cho, president of Mnet America. "Fans of Asian entertainment are everywhere, so we’re very happy that now even more of them can call Mnet America their television home."
