MTV's 'Real World: Skeletons' Sets a New Scene

The 30th Real World series will expose seven strangers by forcing them to confront skeletons of their past headon. The new series premieres Dec. 16 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Real World: Skeletons begins with the show's normal style, as strangers move into an urban loft, once an old night club.

In Chicago’s West Loop, roommates are soon after forced to live with skeletons of their past, in addition to the new strangers.

"No one wants their worst enemy or embarrassing past moving in with them, but by facing your past you actually grow, and that growth, however painful it may be, is what makes this season of The Real World so watchable," said Creator and Executive Producer of The Real World, Jonathan Murray in a release.

Whether they are confronted with estranged family members or broken relationships, the new series takes a deeper look into the strangers' darkest secrets.
