TheBlaze Secures Vubiquity, NRTC Carriage Deals

News network adds distribution partners 9/27/2016 10:27 PM Eastern

Conservative news channel TheBlaze has reached distribution deals with Vubiquity and the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, the network said Tuesday.

Vubiquity will distribute the Glenn Beck-founded network through its managed linear distribution platform, while the NRTC co-op will distribute the network to its members, according to network officials.

The network did not provide subscriber numbers for either the Vubiquity or NRTC deal. The agreements come two months after Altice USA dropped the service in its New York area systems.

“Our agreement with Vubiquity will provide video distributors with a turn-key method of receiving and distributing TheBlaze’s highly popular content to our deeply loyal and engaged audience,” said Stewart Padveen, President of TheBlaze in a statement. “Our agreement with NRTC provides its members with a quick and simple way to add TheBlaze to their channel lineups, and offer our highly popular content to our deeply loyal and engaged audience.”
