BET's 'Sunday Best' Sings Sweet Ratings Tune

Black Entertaiment Television's gospel competition series Sunday Best drew 1.7 million viewers during its May 10 finale.

The show, which saw Y'Anna Crawley of Washington, D.C., win the competition and a national recording contract, matched the series' March premiere and the show's December 2007 freshman season finale.

The Sunday Best season two finale, hosted by Kirk Franklin, also served as BET's number one primetime telecast ever for the month of May, the network said.
