Home & Garden Television announced that it is adding programming from sibling DIY Network.
Beginning Oct. 2, HGTV will air new episodes of fellow Scripps Networks service DIY’s Scrapbooking and B. Original weekdays at 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. (EST), respectively.
"We've seen that the do-it-yourself trend resonates with the younger HGTV viewer who loves the idea of creating personalized and customized items for themselves and their homes,” HGTV president Judy Girard said.
Scrapbooking features designer and author Sandi Genovese, who gives tips and project ideas for grouping and decorating photos and miscellaneous memorabilia. B. Original features host Michele Beschen, who puts imaginative twists on do-it-yourself projects.
