New Delhi, India -- An Indian judge issued a warrant for
the arrest of News Corp. chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch for allegedly showing
obscene films on the company's Star TV network. Prem Kumar, chief metropolitan magistrate
of New Delhi, has ordered Murdoch to appear in his court Aug. 22. The arrest warrant
follows summonses that were first issued to Murdoch in December in Australia, in the
United States and at the company's New Delhi offices. None of the summonses could be
served.

Toronto -- Look Communications is expected to
substantially undercut this city's incumbent cable operator when it begins operations
later this summer. According to industry newsletter Canadian Communications Reports,
Look will offer subscribers free equipment and installation -- a savings of about $US415.
Look's $US14.25 monthly basic fee will slightly undercut that of Rogers for roughly the
same number of video channels, as well as 30 audio channels, which Rogers' basic package
doesn't include.
