Kanouff to Join Cablevision as Technology EVP3/12/2012 12:01 AM Eastern
Yvette Kanouff, the former president
of SeaChange International, who left
last month after nearly 15 years, is joining
Cablevision Systems as an executive vice
president in the

according to industry sources.
Kanouff will likely oversee Cablevision’s
consumer-facing software engineering products,
sources said. She apparently will report
to Jim Blackley, Cablevision’s executive vice
president of corporate
engineering and technology.

At Cablevision, several high-ranking executives
have departed in recent months.
Former chief operating officer Tom Rutledge
resigned in December and is now
CEO of Charter Communications. That

operations John Bickham left. Then last
week, Cablevision said executive vice president
of marketing Jonathan Hargis would
leave the cable company to pursue other
Kanouff, well known in cable technology
circles, was elected the first woman chair
of the Society of Cable Telecommunications
Engineers in 2005.
Prior to SeaChange, Kanouff was director
of interactive technologies for Time Warner
Cable and worked as a signal-processing
mathematician at Lockheed Martin. She is
a member of Multichannel News’ Wonder
Women class of 2001.
