Mad Ratings For Cramer's 'Daily Show' Appearance3/14/2009 11:03 AM Eastern
The much-hyped interview with CNBC host Jim Cramer delivered for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, giving the show its second most-watched episode of the year.
The March 12 episode averaged 2.3 million total viewers, trailing only the 2.6 million that watched on inauguration day, Jan. 20, according to Nielsen Media Research data, based on a live + same-day basis
The interview capped a series of shows for the week criticizing CNBC in general, and Cramer in particular, over its financial news coverage. The Daily Show drew an average of 2.1 million viewers for the four episodes, second only to its performance during the week of Barack Obama's inauguration as president.
