Telemundo to Produce Spanish Version of 'Top Chef'

Eight Hispanic celebrities have been tapped to compete for $100,000in Top Chef: Estrellas (Top Chef: Stars), a Spanish-language version of Bravo's Top Chef, set to air next season.

Hosted by telenovela actress Aylin Mujica (pictured), the adaptation of Bravo’s cooking-competition series has enlisted TV host Nancy Alvarez, comedian Fernando Arau, singer Christian Chavez and telenovela actors David Chocarro, Erika de la Rosa, Christian de la Campa, Lorena Herrera and Cynthia Olavarria.

Top Chef: Estrellas becomes the second series that Telemundo has adapted from one of its fellow NBCUniversal cable siblings: The network also airs La Voz Kids, based on NBC's singing reality competition series The Voice.
