CBS to Cover HGTV `Dream House' Winner

Taking a page out of the Publishers Clearing House book, Home & Garden
Television will team up with CBS News' The Early Show on live coverage of
the cable network awarding a $1 million home to the winner of its 'Dream Home
Giveaway Sweepstakes.'

On April 11, The Early Show, accompanied by HGTV on-air personality
Joan Steffend, will visit the sweepstakes winner, whose name has been drawn from
more than 11.2 million entries -- the highest number ever received by HGTV for
its annual sweepstakes program.
That total was up from 6.6 million entries
last year. HGTV began the Dream Home Giveaway in 1997 with 1.2 million
entries.

Some 9.5 million entries were submitted online to the network's Web site,
HGTV.com. There, users were able to access 360-degree interactive views of the
2002 dream home, located in Sherwood, Md., on beachfront property overlooking
the Chesapeake Bay.
