Suddenlink Closes NPG Deal

Suddenlink Communications, the mid-market MSO headed by cable veteran Jerry Kent, said Friday that it has closed its acquisition of NPG Cable for about $350 million.
Suddenlink announced the deal in November. NPG has about 83,000 subscribers in St. Joseph, Mo.; Mammoth Lakes, Calif.; and several Arizona communities, including Flagstaff and Sedona, Lake Havasu and Kingman.
"We look forward to serving these communities and are delighted to be able to officially welcome NPG's customers and employees to the Suddenlink family," Kent said in a statement. "We are thoroughly committed to providing a superior level of customer care."
