Superconnect will debut its “CableAware 1.0” monitoring and performance-evaluation application for cable-modem systems at the Society of Cable and Telecommunications Engineers’ Cable-Tec Expo Monday.
The vendor said CableAware integrates with operators' existing cable-modem-termination systems and billing-software infrastructure, monitoring all subscribers’ cable modems and reporting data about service quality and network health.
Superconnect added that its reports include anomaly alerts, trend analysis and critical performance data for every single cable modem in an operator's network.
CableAware 1.0 will be released July 15.
