Netflix to Premiere 'Narcos' in August

Netflix will roll out its drug-themed series Narcos on Aug. 28, the OTT service said Thursday.

The 10-episodses series, which chronicles real-life stories of 1980s drug kingpins and law enforcement efforts to shut them down, stars Wagner Moura (Elite SquadElysium), Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones).

José Padilha (Elite Squad,RoboCop), Eric Newman (Children of Men), Doug Miro and Carlos Bernard (Sorcerer’s Apprentice) and Chris Brancato (Hannibal) will serve as executive producer for Narcos, said Netflix.
