NAMIC Seeks 2015 Next-Generation Leader Noms

The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) today (Feb. 12) issued its call for nominations for this year's Next-Generation Leaders Awards, which honor emerging business leaders of color for their contributions to the success of their respective organizations.

NAMIC established the Next Generation Leaders Awards in 2006 to recognize executives of color for their "commitment to fostering diversity, while personifying excellence and who, by virtue of their individual achievements, serve as beacons for those who will follow in their footsteps," NAMIC said. The awards will be presented at NAMIC's Annual Awards Breakfast, co-hosted by Multichannel News, on May 7 in Chicago at INTX: The Internet & Television Expo (formerly, the Cable Show).

Nominees must be business leaders under the age of 45 who work in one of four areas: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer, Technology Company/Disciplines and Creative Disciplines. The submission deadline is March 6.

More information on eligibility criteria and an online nomination submission form are available at the NAMC website.
