Vubiquity Expands Exec Team

Multiscreen video specialist Vubiquity has expanded its corporate development division through the promotion of Pete Bryant to  EVP, corporate development and strategic business development, and the hiring of Gabriel Berger to the post of SVP, business development.

Bryant, who previously was SVP, business development, will report to Vubiquity CEO Darcy Antonellis and company president Doug Sylvester in his expanded role.

Berger, who last served as SVP of sales at Digitalsmiths (now part of TiVo), is also late of Clearleap, Navic Networks (sold to Microsoft in 2008 ), Gotuit Media (sold to Digitalsmiths in 2010), OpenTV, The Box Music Network and Request Television. Berger is tasked with managing key partnerships, building relationships with emerging companies and exploring new revenue opportunities worldwide. He reports to Bryant.

“Throughout the course of this year, Vubiquity has developed a number of new products and platforms that leverage the latest in technology to support good consumer experiences while increasing content monetization,” said Antonellis, who took the helm of Vubiquity in January. “Pete and Gabe are perfectly placed to leverage these new tools to support new and existing clients as they accelerate growth to reach their financial and strategic goals.  Their respective backgrounds speak directly to the new economy of audience engagement, retention and monetization in media and entertainment.”
