The National Cable & Telecommunications Association is putting together “VoiceNET,” a special pavilion at this year’s National Show, April 9-11 in Atlanta, to highlight cable’s entry into the telephone business.

The technology pavilion will feature noise-suppression products, packet processing, Internet-protocol networking, encryption technology, authentification, signal relay, semiconductor products and peripheral interfaces.

“VoiceNET is an important addition to the National Show, and it will help to focus attention on the industry’s leadership role in the development and deployment of new voice services that are gaining momentum and attracting customers,” the trade group said in a release.
