Sachs Returning to Continental Consulting

National Cable & Telecommunications Association president Robert Sachs announced Monday that he will rejoin the Boston-based cable-consulting group he cofounded in 1998.

Issuing a statement on his final day at the NCTA after more than five years in the top job, Sachs said he would be begin work Tuesday at Continental Consulting Group, which he launched with business partner Rob Stengel.

CCG was Sachs’s last stop before moving to the NCTA as Decker Anstrom’s successor. Sachs is being replaced by former deputy energy secretary Kyle McSlarrow, who starts Tuesday.

CCG’s offices are based in the old headquarters of Continental Cablevision Inc., later known as MediaOne Group Inc.
