AT&T Launches VoIP In Orlando

AT&T announced the availability of U-verse Voice, the telco's voice-over-IP service, in Orlando and other parts of central Florida.

The telco as of the end of March said it had deployed the VoIP service in more than 86% of U-verse markets. AT&T says the attach rate for U-verse Voice - the percentage of subscribers who subscribe to the service in addition to U-verse TV and Internet - is more than 60%.

U-verse Voice is available with two plans: An unlimited-calling plan for $30 per month (to the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico) and U-verse Voice 250, $25 per month for 250 minutes plus 5 cents per each additional minute.
