C-COR Provides ‘Max Value’

C-COR Inc. said Wednesday that its “Value Max Transponder” is now available.

The matchbox-sized, low-cost transponder provides element management and control using the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers’ open-standard HMS (Hybrid Management Sublayer) protocol.

C-COR said the Value Max can monitor and control a variety of node and amplifier components, lower operating expenditures and simplify provisioning and network operations.

The vendor added that the Value Max will make its public debut at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in San Antonio June 14-17.
