The studio audience on Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show won’t go home empty-handed.
Each audience member will receive a TiVo Inc. “Series2” 80-hour digital-video recorder with lifetime service as a holiday gift, TiVo said.
“When you give the gift of TiVo, you get a uniquely enthusiastic and excited reaction from the gift recipient, and it was great fun helping Ellen to capture that moment with her studio audience," TiVo chief marketing officer Matt Wisk said in a prepared statement.
"With a TiVo DVR, fans never have to miss an episode of Ellen because they weren't home in time,” he added. “Every episode will be recorded and waiting for them."
