Humax USA Thursday debuted its “DRT800” DVD recorder with TiVo Inc. digital-video-recorder service.
The DRT800, with a suggested retail price of $399, is available from retailers including Amazon.com Inc. (www.amazon.com), Best Buy Co. Inc., Buy.com (www.buy.com), Circuit City Stores Inc., Good Guys Inc., Humax’s Web site (humaxusa.com), J&R Electronics Inc., Sam's Club and TiVo’s Web site (www.tivo.com).
“The DRT800 eliminates the confusion and complexity of DVD recording and offers seamless integration of the easy-to-use TiVo service, once again raising the bar for what consumers should expect from their home entertainment," TiVo chief marketing officer Matt Wisk said in a prepared statement.
