INTX 2015: UXP, Aria Team Up

UXP Systems and Aria Systems have teamed on a joint offering of UXP Systems’ MINT User Lifecycle Management Platform and Aria Active Monetization Platform solutions.

The new offering, to be shown at next week’s INTX in Chicago by UXP (booth 1515),  is designed to help cable operators rapidly launch and monetize their over-the-top and cloud services.

“Cable operators today are looking for better ways to onboard and monetize digital users. Whether offering beyond the service footprint  via over-the-top and cloud offerings, or creating new relationships with every individual household member, there are opportunities for market expansion,” said Jim MacDonald, VP of global marketing at UXP, in a statement.

The partnership with Aria “provide new payment options to users that align with next generation OTT and Cloud service offerings,” he added.

“Aria complements UXP Systems’ offering with an Active Monetization Platform that allows operators to get to market faster with a wider array of products and services and quickly iterate on those offerings to better meet changing customer demands,” said John Breul, Aria’s head of business development.

Customers of UXP’s MINT Platform include Telus, Rogers, Cable & Wireless and Cable Bahamas. Cable industry heavyweights John Malone and John Risley recently made personal investments in UXP.
