Multi-Link to ‘Stick’ It to VoIP Providers

Multi-Link Inc. said Wednesday that its “TeleVoIP Stick” is available for immediate testing by voice-over-Internet-protocol providers.

The TeleVoIP Stick is a transparent communications system that provides VoIP compatibility with the existing public switched telephone network, helping to alleviate fears concerning 911 access by VoIP providers.

“There are three major barriers to VoIP adoption by the consumer: resistance to change, loss of service and E911 incompatibility,” Multi-Link president Ron Sladon said in a prepared statement. “The TeleVoIP Stick overcomes each of these barriers and empowers the user with new levels of convenience, choice and control in everyday communications.”
