Suddenlink Connects With NuTEQ

NuTEQ Solutions said Suddenlink Communications has selected Crosstel Call Routing Management System (CRMS) to manage its local and long distance traffic.

The vendor said the CRMS platform provides Least Cost Routing (LCR), Dynamic Fraud Protection, and real-time management reporting on network traffic.

“NuTEQ’s feature-rich CRMS is an ideal solution for a full-service carrier like Suddenlink,” said Tim Thompson, VP-CLEC operations at Suddenlink, in a statement. “The NuTEQ CRMS balances the quality of service Suddenlink assures its customers, with the meaningful cost savings and fraud protection we were looking for in this critical network investment. The broad capabilities of the NuTEQ system, the anticipated cost savings, all coupled with its affordability, made the CRMS a good choice for us.”

Suddenlink ended the second quarter of 2014 with 534,600 residential voice customers, and 2,200 commercial telephone subs.
