This Technology Hires Product Management VP

Dynamic ad insertion and “alternate content delivery” specialist This Technology has hired Denise MacDonell to the post of vice president of product management, where she’ll head up the company’s product management team, set product roadmaps and

MacDonnell most recently served as the GM of digital out-of-home for Harris Broadcast. She’s also late of Corel Corp., middleware and video software company Espial, Nortel Networks and MetaSolv Software.

“This Technology has been ahead of the curve with market-defining solutions that provide crucial technology components that help MVPDs and programmers ready their networks to support content delivery on any device,” said MacDonell, in a statement. “The convergence of traditional and IP video has created a real opportunity for new, scalable software products that operators and programmers need today.”

This Technology, founded in 2006, announced in November 2012 that it raised a $7.5 million series A round led by General Catalyst Partners and identified four major customers: Comcast, Verizon Communications, NBCUniversal and ABC.
