Verizon FiOS Launches Trio of Grupo Multimedios Services

Verizon FiOS has reached an agreement with Grupo Multimedios to carry three of the programmer's Spanish-language networks on the telco's video service nationwide.
Beginning on Dec. 15, Verizon FiOS is making 24/7 news network Milenio Television , entertainment and family channel Multidmedios Television and regional Mexican music service Teleritmo available to its video customers nationwide. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Verizon FiOS TV is committed to providing the very best in multicultural entertainment, and the Multimedios networks offer a nice addition to our growing channel lineup," said Terry Denson, vice president of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon. "The new channels will certainly enhance the viewing experience for our customers."
