Golden Globes: ‘Atlanta’ Wins Golden Globes Award For Best Comedy

FX’s freshman series Atlanta was a surprise Golden Globes winner for best comedy series.

The series, created and starring Donald Glover (Community), beat out a veteran lineup of comedy shows including Black-ish, Mozart In The Jungle, Transparent and Veep for the Golden Globe award for Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

Glover is also nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy award.
