BeIN Sport, looking to capitalize on its coverage of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marco Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has retained IMS to sell national advertising across its portfolio.
The rep firm will offer media buying and planning opportunities for BeIN Sport and BeIN Sport en Español, as well as BeIN Sport Play, the programmer’s TV Everywhere play for authenticated U.S. subscribers.
One of the largest media buying companies in Latin America, IMS will furnish BeIN Sport with a dedicated sales force in the major advertising markets in the U.S. IMS’s media agnostic planning is supported by powerful research tools, as it focuses on campaign management, optimization, and client services to ensure premium delivery and results.
With BeIN Sport, IMS will be able to pitch sponsorship and inventory packages around the programmer’s international sports coverage, including La Liga, Spain’s top futbol circuit and home to Messi and Ronaldo, Italy’s Serie A, where Balotelli plays, and France’s Ligue 1, where Ibrahimovic has been hitting the back of the net for Paris Saint-Germain.
