Gaia, a service that offers a library of thousands of films, documentaries and original programs focused on personal development, yoga and mind-body wellness, also sells its service as a direct-to-consumer OTT-SVOD product and through other online outlets such as Amazon.

"We want to give our customers access to all manner of programming and Gaia’s unique collection of transformational and holistic living content is a great addition to our growing lifestyle and fitness offering on Xfinity on Demand,” Comcast Cable VP Daniel Spinosa, said in a statement. “This partnership is representative of our commitment to delivering the best collection of content to our customers whenever and wherever they want to watch it."

Comcast also carries Gaia’s fitness and yoga service, Gaiam TV Fit & Yoga.

Comcast also sells other subscription services on its Xfinity On Demand platform, including History Vault ($4.99 per month); Anime Network ($6.99 per month); and Eros Now, a Bollywood-focused service ($12.99 per month), among others. The MSO has also been pushing ahead with integrations of OTT services with its X1 platform, such as Netflix, with YouTube and Sling TV on deck.
