    LATV has tapped Harry Neuhaus as regional sales director. He will head up sales in the eastern region and will report directly to Bill Jenkins, LATV's VP of advertising. Prior to joining the Los Angeles-based bilingual network Mr. Neuhaus was VP, national advertising sales for MTV Tr3’s, leading the sales efforts for MTV’s channel focused on bicultural and bilingual youth. Prior to that he was VP of ad sales at MTV Networks Latin America where he supervised both the MTV and Nickelodeon Latin America sales teams in Buenos Aires, Mexico and Miami. Formerly, Mr. Neuhaus was VP of Latin American Advertising Sales for CNN International, CNN en Español, TNT Latin America and Cartoon Latin America. more » » »

  • Cablevision To Deliver Mets Games In Spanish
    (Excerpted from an 4/14/2008 article on the Multichannel News Web site)

    Cablevision Systems will broadcast a total of 25 New York Mets home games in Spanish to customers subscribing to its iO en español (iOe) service throughout the season. The games will be available on channel 231 as part of the cable system’s Spanish-language programming package. All 25 games will be broadcast live with the Mets’ Spanish broadcast team of Max Perez Jiminez and Juan Alicea at the helm. more » » » 
  • Telemundo Plans Spanish Channel

    NBC-owned Telemundo will launch pay TV channel Telemundo International next fall in Spain on the same day that it bows in Mexico as part of a pact inked with Mexican media giant Grupo Televisa. The Spanish operation was unveiled at Cannes’ Mip TV by Telemundo International president Marcos Santana. Spanish cable carriers have still to be announced.
