AT&T announced the availability of U-verse Voice in parts of San Antonio.

Verizon received video franchises from the New York towns of Amityville on Long Island and Kent in Putnam County. The franchises bring to 126 the total number of New York municipalities that have approved video franchises for FiOS TV.

Netmax.tv, a provider of multilanguage ethnic television and entertainment, has selected Widevine Technologies' content-security solution to distribute targeted, geo-specific programming worldwide to Web and IPTV set-top box users.
